Problem Statement: Urban life generates a constant stream of public events - cultural, educational, civic, commercial, and recreational—yet event intelligence is highly fragmented across municipalities, venues, community groups, schools, and private organizers. Citizens and families often struggle to discover relevant events aligned with their interests, schedules, locations, accessibility needs, and budgets. Event organizers face uncertainty about expected attendance, audience targeting, resource planning, and post-event impact measurement. Cities, in turn, lack a consolidated, longitudinal view of how public space programming influences community engagement, economic activity, crowd flows, and neighbourhood vitality. This vaccum leads to overlapping schedules, under-attended events, overcrowding in others, inefficient permitting processes, and lost social and economic value. Without an integrated public events intelligence layer, cities cannot fully orchestrate vibrant, well-balanced urban life at scale.
- Here, we deal with external events for the public: cultural, educational, communal events, entertainment events, art events, sport events, recreational events, environmental events and, even, festivals or national events. Why do we collect data about public events? Why is it so important in community or city management? Data allows communal bodies / municipal authorities to know their audience better and manage future projects more effectively. When these acquired facts are used with responsibly, they can create better experiences for the attendees and translate into more revenue for the communal / municipal organizer. - The Name/Short Description fields (various segments) are displayed in search results. Use the Full Description Text fields to describe your event/incident as completely as possible. PEIM uses, extensively, free-form text fields. Additional details, such as a description of the expected activities, help create interest for potential attendees and can greatly increase attendance. This is your chance to create a verbal picture of your event!


- Residents can save any event that has one or more performance date, whether it is ticketed, free or drop-in. The resident can save events that are currently sold out, letting him/her easily check availability from his/her ‘Saved events’ list (Table 109) to see if any tickets become available. At the moment, this list is purely for citizen/customer reference and no one will not contact him/her about the events in his/her list.

- Contactless and Cashless Payments: Contactless technology, such as RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and NFC (Near Field Communication), allows attendees to make cashless payments and have touch-free access to event venues. This trend grew in importance post-pandemic for hygiene and convenience.
- Once an attendee has completed the registration process and made payment successfully, he or she will receive an E-ticket with a QR code. This QR code can be used at the event during the onsite check-in process.
- There are SIX ways of ticketsdelivery: Physical Tickets delivered via Post (should be purchased sufficient number of days in advance), In-list entry tickets (attendees' names will be added to a list. Simply check their IDs at the door of your event and mark off their names when they arrive), PDF print-at-home tickets, Mobile tickets, Kiosk Physical Tickets sale, Onsite Physical Tickets sale.
- You can notify your attendees in THREEways: a message to their smartphones, sending email and/or attaching a PDF-printable page to the email message.

- There are FOUR types of notifications: Order confirmation, Reminder for waiting-list attendees, General Reminder for all attendees and bi-directional messages for Refund Requests.

- Add special instructions or other useful information to your customized notifications/messages.
- The user can customize all types of notifications: this is the perfect place to include information like parking details, directions to the event venue, refund policy, door times, dress codes, and contact information.

- A great advantage with using E-tickets is the display of personalized welcome messages on the tablets stands upon the successful check-in of an attendees. Event’s staff members can direct the attendees to their appropriate seat numbers without forcing the attendees turn to their mobile phones or PDF-printed forms.
- We recommend that the event web site will display also side information on past or upcoming events of the same: venue, category or targeted audience.
