Family Information Manager (FIM): INTEGRA manages all daily aspects of every family
Problem Statement at the family level, critical information - medical, educational, financial, mobility,
leisure, and caregiving data - is managed in disconnected pockets by different family members and
external institutions. Families lack a unified operational picture that supports planning, risk management,
intergenerational support, and efficient decision-making. Even routine matters such as vehicle
management, pet care, benefits eligibility, or education tracking require repetitive manual coordination and
expose families to avoidable costs and errors.
1. The INTEGRA FIM module helps reduce daily mental load, making it easier to stay organized and
feel in control over family and home life. Many families find that keeping digital records and reminders
significantly reduces stress and boosts their confidence in managing their household effectively: Personal
details, calendar, education, bank accounts, credit/debit cards, bills and invoices, wealth management
(savings, retirement, investments, deposits), loans/mortgages, insurances, investments, purchases &
sales, vehicles, properties, medical records, immunizations, medications, medical
problems/sensitivities/limitations, health reminder, civilian privileges, child, youth and adolescent
health, elderly in family, caregiving, family growth/developmental history, relatives information, leisure
time (hobbies, books, shows, sport, vacations), familial events, travel, legal events and many more
aspects.
There is a special emphasis, in INTEGRA FIM module, on the issues of caring for needy populations -
within the family: caregiving/Housekeeping in general (0711xx segments), Infants / Toddlers
/Adolescents Health in the Family (0712xx segments), Elderly Health in the Family (0715xx segments).
72 DB segments are dedicated to INTEGRA FIM.
Colour: Grey.
The Price: Slight changes in the life of every citizen who uses INTEGRA: A total of 3-8 minutes is
required from each citizen to document the day-to-day activities relating to him/her and his/her family.
This time estimate relates to transactions, events, new documents pertaining to an average day of activity
in the life of the citizen.
2. What about the current state of past personal information? Most of the personal information of the
citizen and his/her family is scattered today, in dozens of external repositories, partially, owned by
outside parties without the citizen's readily accessible and prompt access. Large portions of this
information (medical, educational, financial, legal, municipal) are supposed to be transferred to the
INTEGRA Citizen/Family personal modules by automatic on/off line interfaces from these external
stakeholders (banks, credit companies, utilities companies, hospitals, clinics, schools/universities).
3. Computerizing certain aspects of family life and home management can truly help bring more
organization, peace of mind, and a sense of control. Here are some key areas that the PIM (Personal
Information Manager) and FIM (Family Information Manager) modules can assist:
Home Maintenance and Task Management:
Maintenance and Repair Tracking: FIM module helps manage regular maintenance (e.g., painting,
plumbing checks) and track the history of repairs or renovations. Reminders for routine or scheduled
maintenance help prevent issues from becoming larger problems.
Utmost organization, Order and Discipline: The FIM module catalogues and documents every
valuable, household item, asset and DOCUMENT: exact location or storage, pictures, details on purchase,
warranty, insurance, brand and model etc’. For years. For Generations. Shared by all family members.
Cleaning and Chores Organization: FIM module lets family members (and external service
providers) organize chores, assign tasks, and set recurring schedules to balance the workload. Digital
checklists can help family members feel accountable and keep the home running smoothly.
Health and Wellness Monitoring:
Family Health Records: The PIM module keeps track of health appointments, medication
schedules, immunizations, and any ongoing treatments. The FIM module covers, in a very high-
resolution detailed schema, health records of children/infants/toddlers/adolescents in family and
elderly in family cases.
Fitness and Nutrition Tracking: The FIM module helps set health goals, track food intake, monitor
physical activity, and encourage healthy habits. Family members can stay informed on each other's
progress to provide motivation.
Cultural Traditions and Recipes: Food and cultural customs are integral to family identity. Many
families document traditional recipes, holiday customs, and special ways of celebrating milestones to pass
these down to future generations.
Family Schedule and Activity Planning:
Shared Family Calendar: The FIM module Calendar allows everyone to add appointments, school
events, extracurricular activities, and family plans. Setting reminders and color-coding for each family
member brings clarity to daily and weekly planning.
Shared Family Reminder: The FIM module organizes grocery lists, and recipes.
Home Security and Emergency Control:
Security and Access data: The FIM module provides encrypted data on key access passwords,
evacuation data, technical data on access, home surveillance and security devices and services.
Emergency Contacts and Protocols: Document emergency contacts, nearby clinics, or hospitals in
a shared location for all family members to access easily.
The following subjects are under the PIM module and related to an individual member of family only:
Personal Development and Hobbies:
Cultural Events, Reading and Learning: The PIM module makes it easy to track personal growth,
whether it’s reading goals, attending cultural events or performances, watching theatre or movies.
Creative Projects and Hobbies: The PIM module allows you to organize goals, track progress, and
celebrate completed projects, whether it’s a personal/family art project, garden maintenance, or
photography.
Household Finances:
Expenses, Incomes and Budgeting Tracking: The PIM module tracks daily bills, invoices,
receipts, collections, incomes, debts, contracts, instalments, taxes, fines, dues. With wide spectrum of
details on: category, location, currency, method of payment or transfer, currency and timing.
Investment and Savings Management: The PIM module covers these aspects. Very detailed
information on all financial, contractual, legal data with attached documents and pictures.
4. In order to enjoy the benefits, in terms of personal and family information (and communal / social ones,
as explained below), the system assumes a fundamental change in the citizen's and family attitude
towards their living environment. The change can be summarized in three letters: R N D: Responsibility,
Networking and Documentation.
5. Here are a few subjects that many families find meaningful to organize, document, and preserve for
many years and future generations. INTEGRA PIM and FIM modules provides straight-forward schemas
and formatted screens for all of them:
Family Trees and Ancestry: INTEGRA documents lineage, family trees, and genealogical
information is a common way to preserve family history. This includes not only names and birth dates
but also the stories, struggles, and achievements of ancestors.
Photos and Videos: PIM and FIM modules organize family DIGITAL photos, videos, and other
media allowing for easy access and sharing of memories. Some families create digital photo albums or
backup systems, while others go a step further and document the context of each photo.
Health Information: PIM and FIM modules document family members health history. It is essential
for understanding genetic predispositions and helping future generations make informed health choices.
Significant Documents and Records: Important legal and financial documents, such as property
deeds, wills, marriage certificates, and family heirlooms, personal letters often require careful
preservation and organization.
Milestones and Achievements: Many families enjoy documenting achievements, like graduations,
awards, or personal accomplishments, to celebrate growth and progress.
Special Objects and Heirlooms: Family heirlooms, like a piece of jewelry, furniture, or artifacts
with historical significance, can carry sentimental value. Organizing these items with documented
histories adds to their importance.
6. INTEGRA emphasizes the importance of maintaining a digital inventory at home. INTEGRA creates
a practical and secure way to track valuable items and documents, providing peace of mind and a
safeguard for the future. This level of organization offers practical benefits now and, potentially, to future
generations who may inherit or need to manage these assets.
Easy Access in Emergencies: In case of emergencies, such as theft, fire, or natural disasters,
having a computerized inventory can speed up the insurance claim process. It allows you to quickly
provide a list of assets, values, and related documents to authorities or insurance providers.
Organized Location Management: Knowing where each item is located within the home (or in
storage) can save time and prevent the frustration of lost items. This is especially helpful in large
households or when managing multiple properties. Digital records make it easy to note an item’s exact
location and access it when needed.
Convenient Documentation of Characteristics and Technical Details: Complex items, such as
electronics, vehicles, or specialty equipment, often come with technical specifications that may be
needed for repairs, upgrades, or replacement parts. A computerized record lets you easily store these
details, avoiding the hassle of locating old manuals or invoices.
Improved Insurance and Valuation Accuracy: A detailed digital inventory helps ensure that all
valuable items are properly insured. Insurance companies often require specifics like purchase receipts,
serial numbers, and appraisal values, all of which can be recorded digitally. This helps prevent under-
insuring or over-insuring items.
Facilitates Maintenance and Repairs: Tracking technical details, warranties, and maintenance
schedules makes it easy to stay on top of required repairs or servicing. For instance, appliances,
electronics, and valuable equipment may have warranties or specific servicing requirements that can be
recorded and tracked digitally, helping extend the life of each item.
Enhances Security and Theft Recovery: For high-value items (e.g., electronics, jewelry,
collectibles), having detailed records with serial numbers, photos, and descriptions can be essential for
recovery if they are stolen. Law enforcement can use this information to track or identify stolen property.
Supports Estate Planning and Asset Distribution: For estate planning, a digital inventory of
assets can be invaluable, as it provides a comprehensive and organized list of items that can be
distributed to beneficiaries. It reduces ambiguity, prevents potential disputes, and ensures that
sentimental or high-value items are accounted for in estate documents.
Efficient Tax Reporting and Financial Planning: For assets that have tax implications, such as art
collections or property, a digital inventory simplifies tracking and reporting. It provides a clear record of
purchase dates, acquisition costs, and improvements, making it easier to manage finances and calculate
depreciation or gains.
Future Proofing and Legacy Management: For heirs or family members, a detailed, computerized
inventory provides a clear record of important items, which can be valuable if they inherit or assume
responsibility for the estate. They won’t have to guess about the value, purpose, or whereabouts of any
items, and they’ll have an organized legacy to manage.
7. INTEGRA is very proud to devote many high-resolution segments in the PIM (Personal Information
Manager), FIM (Family IM) and MCIM (Medical Care IM) modules tracking and computerizing detailed,
high-resolution health records for elderly, infants, toddlers, adolescents and individuals with mental
disorders IN THE FAMILY. Computerizing this data supports the health and well-being of each
individual, while also improving the quality of care and communication within the family. Having
access to organized, detailed, and secure records provides confidence that family members are receiving
the best care possible tailored to their individual needs and that the detailed records are kept for years
and generations.
Personalized and Consistent Care: Detailed records allow for a personalized approach to care,
which is especially important for individuals with specific needs. For instance, tracking health details,
routines, preferences, sensitivities, recipients and caregivers ensures that caregivers, whether family or
professional, can provide care that’s consistent and attuned to the individual’s unique requirements.
Medical Monitoring and Emergency Preparedness: High-resolution data on health conditions,
medications, allergies, and medical history is essential for quick and accurate responses in
emergencies. For individuals with chronic conditions or complex health needs, this detailed information
can make a significant difference during medical interventions.
Tracking Developmental Milestones and Behavioural Patterns: For infants and toddlers, tracking
developmental milestones, dietary habits, sleep patterns, and behavioural changes helps parents and
healthcare providers identify any potential issues early. This detailed tracking can highlight
developmental concerns, delays, or other indicators that may benefit from timely intervention.
Medication Management and Safety: For elderly family members and individuals with mental
disorders, accurate tracking of medications (including dosages, side effects, and schedules) helps
prevent mistakes and adverse interactions. A computerized system with reminders can also ensure
medication adherence and reduce the risk of missed or incorrect doses.
Improved Communication Across Caregivers: Families often rely on multiple caregivers, especially
for young children or elderly members with special needs. A centralized, digital record allows all
caregivers to access the latest information, ensuring seamless communication and continuity in care.
This is especially helpful in family settings where multiple people are responsible for care.
Tracking and Supporting Mental Health: For individuals with mental disorders, detailed records of
behavioural patterns, triggers, and effective coping strategies provide insights for family members and
mental health professionals. Documenting treatment progress, therapy notes, and medication responses
can also guide future care decisions and enable more effective, individualized support.
Monitoring Changes and Intervening Early: A high-resolution record makes it easier to notice
subtle changes in health, behaviour or functioning, which may indicate a need for intervention. For
elderly adults, this might include signs of cognitive decline, while for young children, it could be
developmental delays or unusual behaviours. Early detection allows for timely intervention and better
outcomes.
Reducing Stress and Providing Peace of Mind: Families caring for individuals with complex needs
often experience stress related to the unpredictability of health or behavioural issues. A well-organized,
computerized record system can alleviate some of this stress by ensuring that crucial information is
available and accessible when needed, reducing the burden of memory and documentation.
Legal and Financial Benefits: In some cases, accurate records are required for legal or financial
reasons. For example, maintaining detailed health and caregiving records can support insurance claims.
Those records can also be helpful in establishing proof of care and expenses in family or legal matters.
Legacy and Continuity: For elderly family members, computerized records can capture personal
histories, memories, and family traditions, ensuring that their legacy is preserved for future generations.
This information can provide a sense of continuity and connection for family members while honouring
their lives, stories and experiences.
8. INTEGRA placed the Elderly, Infants/Toddlers/Adolescents Health subjects under the FIM (Family
Information Manager) module since, families are the most common caregivers of the aging/young
sick or needy populations.
Prompt and efficient link of sick seniors and toddlers or infants to caregivers is very important and critical.
There is a huge shortage of caregivers for the elderly. It is an utmost need to develop a systematic and
organized platform for input screens and queries for therapists / caregivers.
It is important to keep records on caregivers in your family with precise information on address and age of
patient. Sometimes you are urgently in need for an alternative caregiver due to unavailability of the
permanent caregiver. INTEGRA enables a prompt search of another caregiver in your locality.
